Gooood Evening Waves!!!!

What an exciting meet today! We had some really close races and when I was entering times, I was reliving a lot of those finishes too! The team did amazing and absolutely crushed it, finishing the season 7-0 and undefeated champions for the 3rd consecutive year! This is a great achievement for all team members as we needed everyone's help this season to help us achieve this accomplishment!!! Celebrate tonight, but the work isn't over! We still have Time Trials and Championships the next week!

Time Trials and Championships Information: 

Shakyra or I will be sending messages with information for arrival, warm-up time, etc. for each Time Trial! If you have questions, please don't hesitate to message either one of us! Shakyra sent information for tomorrow's 8 and Under Time Trial a few minutes ago!

Practices this Week & End of Season: 

Are running as scheduled for all practice groups! Our last of the season is this Friday, 7/17. Our end of the year Team Party will be held after Championships on 7/18!

• Girls 13-14 200 Yard Free Relay: The relay team of Ariel Watkins, Kai Ng, Kassidy Daniel, and Rosie Hailu set the record with a time of 1:49.72, breaking the previous record of 1:50.28 set in 2022 by Averie Crawford, Madison King, Annika Jorgensen, and Gianna Howard!
• Boys 9/10 25 Yard Breaststroke: Sam Ingram set the record with a time of 19.17, breaking the previous record of 19.50 set by Jason Wan in 2023!
• Boys 9/10 100 Yard Freestyle Relay: The relay team of Michael Wan, Owen Rodgers, Ethan Lin, and Sam Ingram set the record with a time of 1:04.98, breaking the previous record of 1:05.79 set in 2023 by Lars Jorgensen, Gavin Hughes, Mikey Haynes, and Jason Wan
• Boys 13/14 50 Yard Freestyle AND Boys 13-18 50 Yard Freestyle: Abe Webster set the record for both the 13/14 and the 13-18 age group with his lead off relay leg time of 22.10! This breaks the 13/14 record set by Joey Duquette in 2021 and the 15-18 record set by Sean Baker in 2013!
• Boys 13/14 200 Yard Freestyle Relay: The relay team of Abe Webster, Jayden Chen, Jason Wan, and Thomas Kalinowski set the record with a time of 1:40.39, breaking the previous record of 1:43.14 set in 2021 by the team of Brian Adderley, Aiden Crawford, Andrew Konkle, and Joey Duquette.
• Boys 13/14 50 Yard Backstroke: Abe Webster set the record with a time of 25.81 breaking the previous record of 25.87 set in 2021 by Joey Duquette!
• Boys 13/14 50 Yard Breaststroke: Abe Webster set the record with a time of 31.08, breaking the previous record of 31.08 set in 2019 by Jude Winnington!
• Boys 13/14 50 Yard Butterfly: Abe Webster set the record with a time of 24.37, breaking the previous record of 25.40 set in 2024 by Mark Rigor!
• Boys 15-18 50 Yard Butterfly: Quincy Young set the record with a time of 24.81, breaking the previous record of 24.84 set in 2024 by Logan Edge!
